• A total of 10 service opportunities
• 1434 people participated in Extend Grace day
• An average of 179 participants on each Saturday service day
• 574 different people, or 43% of the adults in our congregation have been involved
• approximately 20% of our participants each time are NEW
This means we are attracting newcomers regularly & retaining experienced volunteers
• We hear stories regularly from individuals & small groups who have chosen to return to many of our partnering organizations to serve on their own. This is the result of instilling an outreach-focused value as part of GCR.
• We have developed relationships with 18 different organizations, including our local police department, the Roseville Parks Department, the Roseville Area High School, and a local Cub Foods store, as well as multiple faith-based organizations in the metro area. While some of these organizations were experienced wtih working with volunteers, others were not. It has been a growth area for all of us to discover how to best utilize our volunteers to meet the needs of each of these organizations.
• We have developed the beginnings of a dedicated group of "site leaders" who are becoming invested in specific organizations with which they serve. As they become more familiar with the needs of an organization, we can utilize our volunteers more effectively.
